Mommy and Me Monday – Picnic

Spring has been beautiful this year so far and this past weekend was no exception. Warm sun and cool breezes make for wonderful picnic weather.

Picnic lunches are easiest to pack with staples you probably already have in your pantry. Chances are you already have bread on hand to make a few quick sandwiches, or maybe you have some leftover pizza from Friday night. Why not throw that in the cooler too? Who hasn’t eaten cold pizza? Plus, if I know the weekend is going to be especially nice, I try and grab a few convenient items from the store too like the presliced apples my kids love.

Don’t over think it.

Don’t complicate it.

Just pack it and get out into the sunshine with your familyand enjoy.

What is your favorite food/snack to take on a picnic?

Have you succeeded and gotten yourself out from behind the camera lately? Share and link up with Mommy and Me Monday over with Serious Krystyn.

We like to picnic on our living room floor! That counts right?
