Yum! My favorite? That’s a tough one. Probably a super rich flourless chocolate cake, served warm & gooey.

There isn’t a sweet treat that I dislike, but I love creme brulee. I fell into a bit of a Sugar Coma after I went on the Sugar Coma tour last year…100% worth it though!

Dessert is ALWAYS my favorite course. Once, my husband & parents & I were on a cruise. At a lunch buffet, I got back to the table first and a table mate looked over at my plate and said “Your mother will be upset that you’re eating dessert first!” I just smiled.

When my mother got back to the table, her plate was also loaded with dessert…

I get my love of sweets naturally! BalancingMama’s flourless chocolate cake is on my list. So are coconut cream pie, hummingbird cake, red velvet cupcakes…

My absolute favorite sweet treats are Camicakes, made right here in yummy Atlanta! (Did just say YUMMY atlanta?) LOL Cupcakes are my guilty pleasure and Camicakes are so divine and really are my medicine. Shameful. I need to be front and center at Sugar Coma so I can get my sugary fix! Chocolates, pies, candies, OH MY!!

I love so many desserts it is hard to choose. I had an incredible chocolate pudding at Rosebud in Virginia Highlands last weekend, but if I can’t have chocolate, my favorite dessert is peach and blackberry crisp.

I love this season because the flavors are so rich and you can add a lot more spice. I love making my grandmother’s pumpkin flan with added cinnamon and pumpkin pie spices. I drizzle it with homemade caramel and it is absolutely marvelous!
